My focus is to provide you with guidance and support along with problem-solving strategies related to a variety of behavioral and emotional concerns you may have. I have worked with a wide array of presenting problems such as self-esteem, depression, anxiety, personal growth, stress, trauma, intergenerational trauma, communication and parenting. My experience has been with providing support to individuals and couples for over 20 years.
Through the use of multiple approaches, along with a warm and welcoming environment, you will increase your ability to manage and/ or resolve your difficulties. Everyone should have the tools to maximize their quality of life and live with the peace they deserve. I will assist you in discovering and developing these strategies that will help you achieve the outcomes you desire.
I have a Masters of Social Work with a specialization in clinical practice from the University of Calgary. Prior to private practice, I have studied and taught addictions, mental health, diversity, oppression and social justice for the faculty of social work. I have also worked as a mental health therapist, trauma therapist and worked with children in different school settings.
